Is Integrity hiring for Amazon during the COVID-19 crisis?
Yes, we have ramped up hiring to support the people relying on Amazon’s service in this stressful time. Integrity jobs at Amazon fall under the 'essential' category.
What prevention methods are being used in Integrity Opportunity Centers?
We've implemented the following processes to help prevent exposure to COVID-19:
OFFICES
Social Distancing
We have set up our offices to practice social distancing at all times including waiting areas and interview areas. We've limited the number of people allowed in the office at once, and each office has a Social Distancing Captain to ensure we're complying with CDC social distancing recommendations.
Cleaning
Each office has a full-time, dedicated cleaning person. After each applicant group, we clean and disinfect all surfaces and areas.
INTERVIEWS
We are rescheduling interviews for anyone that is currently sick or that has traveled out of the country in the past 14 days. We've implemented new processes to reduce the instances where your paperwork and ID are handled.
Will my assignment be protected if I need to quarantine?
We work closely with clients to preserve your assignment during a quarantine. We will advocate for you and we need your help to do it. The best thing you can do during this time is keep our COVID-19 team updated about your situation and email documentation related to your testing and/or quarantine to covid19@integritystaffing.com.
What is Amazon doing to provide a safe environment for employees at this time?
Health and safety are a top priority with all Amazon roles and sites. Both Integrity and Amazon continue to consult with medical and health experts and take all recommended precautions in the warehouses to keep people healthy. Both companies have taken measures to promote social distancing in the workplace and taken on enhanced and frequent cleaning, to name just a few.
Is it okay to travel?
If you are leaving the country, you will need to quarantine for 2 weeks upon return. Travel advisories within the US are always changing so we recommend checking the CDC travel guidance at this link to avoid areas where COVID-19 cases are increasing. If you visit an area of increased COVID-19 cases, you should also plan to quarantine for 2 weeks upon return. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/travel-during-covid19.html
What if my workplace isn’t following social distancing or cleaning guidelines?
We will work with our clients to make improvements in these areas. If you have concerns about this, please notify your local Integrity manager, the Integrity Answers line at (888) 458-8367, or contact our COVID-19 team directly by emailing covid19@integritystaffing.com.
What can I do to help prevent the spread of COVID-19?
The steps you can take are fairly simple but very effective!
Practice social distancing – stay 3-6 feet away from anyone as the virus can spread through close contact, especially if someone is coughing or sneezing.
If you are coughing or sneezing – cough into a tissue or into your bent elbow. (NOTE: if you are using tissues, dispose of them immediately after coughing and sneezing and wash your hands afterward)
Hand washing – Hand washing is the most effective method to help prevent the spread of COVID19 and should be done multiple times a day and any time before you touch your face. You may also use hand sanitizer if you cannot get to a sink to wash your hands.
Is there a way to wash my hands properly to help prevent the spread of COVID-19?
YES! The proper way to wash your hands is very simple to do:
- Wet your hands completely
- Use soap and lather your hands away from the water
- Scrub your hands together away from the water for a minimum of 20 seconds making sure you get the backs of your hands, between your fingers, and your nails
- Rinse thoroughly under the water
- Dry your hands with a paper towel until completely dry
I’m laying off my employees because of COVID-19. Are there temporary jobs until I can hire them back?
We understand that many jobs are being furloughed or lost in the current environment. We want both employers and employees to know we welcome them on our teams until things return to normal. If you are an employer, direct your employees to integritystaffing.com to find short-term jobs with us.
I tested positive for COVID-19, now what?
The most important thing right now is your safety and the safety of others. You should remain in quarantine, follow the directions of your doctor and focus on getting better. As soon as you are able to, please notify our COVID-19 team of your positive test results by emailing covid19@integritystaffing.com.
We will ask you contact tracing questions to help identify other employees that may have been exposed. While protecting your privacy, we will notify our clients and any employees that could have been exposed so they can take the necessary steps. Your name will not be given to other employees. To return to work after testing positive, we just need a doctor’s note clearing you to return, or a more recent negative test result.
Will I be paid by Integrity while I quarantine? I thought employers were required to provide 2 weeks of paid leave.
Integrity Staffing Solutions is unable to compensate people during quarantines. Instead, we recommend that people file for unemployment to assist with missed work due to COVID-19 quarantines. If you need to quarantine, we will send you information to help with the unemployment process.
The FFCRA does not cover Integrity Staffing as we have more than 500 employees. For more information on this, please click here.
Are facemasks or face coverings required?
During this unprecedented crisis, the safety of every Integrity associate and Staff member is our number one priority. We are especially concerned for those of you who must remain on the front lines.
ASSOCIATES - We recommend all Integrity associates who are not vaccinated wear a face covering of some kind covering their nose and mouth from arrival at the work location through the departure of their shift or office hours. If the client requires wearing a face covering, it is required to be worn.
OPPORTUNITY CENTER - Face masks are required for anyone that has not yet been vaccinated.
Because we are committed to your health and safety, any staff member who refuses to comply with this face mask policy will be sent home and will be subject to disciplinary action up to termination. While this may sound harsh, the safety of all associates and staff members is paramount.
Thank you for your commitment to keeping yourself, everyone on our team, as well as the people each of you encounters, healthy and safe. Download our Facemask FAQs below.
